Qualifications For Position

  • 5 plus years tax planning and preparation experience in public accounting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • CPA certification required
  • Masters degree in Taxation or equivalent a plus

Bank Auditor

Qualifications For Position

Internship Positions

Audit internships

  • Prepare electronic audit work using the firm’s innovative software
  • Learn A&F’s audit approach for internal controls, cash, accounts receivable and payable
  • Provide assistance with consulting engagements

Tax Internships

  • Prepare tax returns using the firm’s sophisticated tax preparation software
  • Learn about A&F’s steps to complete a return
  • Work on returns such as individuals, partnerships and C and S Corporations

What To Expect

  • As an intern, you will typically work a six week program
  • Training the first week on technology and basic audit and tax skills
  • 5 weeks of working as an Associate level staff person
  • Primarily audit and tax work however we hope to work some tax and consulting into the program
  • Travel
  • Internship runs the first of July through mid August – must be flexible
  • Internships for the tax department are also provided during the Spring semester, ending on or before April 15
  • At the end of the internship, many of our previous interns have received a job offer to return to A&F as a full-time associate accountant upon graduation.
